Dueling Dragons at Islands Of Adventure

They're the world's first inverted, dueling roller-coasters. Soar 125 feet in the air and reach speeds of 55 mph on two unique rides. This ride is soon to be closing down and will become part of the new Wizarding World Of Harry Potter area.

Ride with the Fire Dragon or Ice Dragon as they narrowly pass within inches on a roller coaster dogfight across the sky! A dual roller coaster with two completely separate rides: Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon. The tracks intertwine amid and around each other, creating three “near-miss” moments when the cars come within 12 inches of each other.


Ride Facts - During the aerial "combat" between dragons - the suspended coasters - there are three times that guests will come within 18 inches of their opponent. Each dragon's 2-minute and 25-second flight includes several inversions, including a zero-g roll, a Cobra roll, two corkscrews, and two vertical loops.
